Point your camera at what you saved
Tap New list, then "Start from a photo of a list". LastList reads the items and keeps the quantities, so "2 lb chicken" arrives as 2 lb of chicken rather than a line of text you have to retype.

If you copied your lists into Notes or an email before the lights went out, paste the whole block at once. LastList splits it into items, strips the bullets and checkboxes, and flags section headings like DAIRY or PRODUCE instead of turning them into things to buy. A CSV from a backup works too.
