Delete Your Account & Data

LastList is operated by Boston304 LLC (doing business as Braatz Innovations). This page describes how to delete your LastList account and associated data.

We respect your privacy and give you full control over your data. Below are the steps to delete your LastList account, unlink your Google account, and remove your data.

Option 1: Clear Your Data in the App (Recommended)

All your shopping lists and preferences are stored locally on your device. You can delete everything from within the app:

  1. Open the LastList app
  2. Tap Settings (gear icon in the side menu)
  3. Scroll to the bottom and tap Clear All Data
  4. Confirm the deletion

What gets deleted: All your shopping lists, saved preferences, shopping history, and cached data.

What remains: Your Google account link (if you had one) will still be connected. See Option 2 below to unlink it.

Option 2: Unlink Your Google Account

If you previously linked your Google account for cloud sync, you can unlink it:

  1. Open the LastList app
  2. Tap Settings (gear icon)
  3. Under Cloud Sync, tap Unlink Google Account
  4. Confirm the unlinking

What happens: Your Google account is disconnected from LastList. Cloud sync will stop working, but your local data remains until you delete it (see Option 1).

Option 3: Request Manual Data Deletion

If you need additional help or want to request that we verify all your data has been deleted, please contact us:

Please include:

  • Your email address (if you linked Google)
  • The device or platform you used (web, mobile, PWA)
  • A request to confirm all data deletion

We will respond within 5 business days to confirm that all your data has been removed from our servers.

Data Retention & Backups

Locally stored data: Once you clear data in the app or uninstall LastList, your local shopping lists and preferences are permanently deleted.

Cloud sync data: If you had cloud sync enabled, your lists and preferences are stored on our servers (MongoDB Atlas), associated with your Google account ID. Unlinking your account stops new data from syncing, but previously synced data remains on our servers until you request its deletion. Email [email protected] to request full server-side deletion of your synced data.

Server logs: We may retain anonymized usage logs for up to 90 days for security and performance monitoring, but these are not tied to your personal identity.
